# Checking checkout and confirmation page status

Guests can only reach your checkout and confirmation pages when both pages are published.

1. In WordPress, go to **Pages** and find the pages that contain the [homerunner-checkout] and [homerunner-confirmation] shortcodes.
2. Check that both pages show **Published** status. If a page shows Draft, Pending, Private, or Scheduled, open it and click **Publish**.
3. Go to **HomeRunner > Reservation Settings** and confirm that the selected **Checkout page** and **Confirmation page** are the published pages.
4. Test in a private browser window, since admins can see unpublished pages but guests cannot.
