# Property map starting zoom level

The starting zoom level of the map on a property details page is controlled by the **Property Map Zoom** module in the HomeRunner Toolkit, available in version 3.197.0 and newer.

1. In your WordPress admin, open the **Toolkit** hub and find the **Map** section.
2. Enable **Property Map Zoom**.
3. Set the **Initial zoom level** (1 to 20). Lower numbers show a wider area, 14 shows the neighborhood (the standard default), and 17 shows the street level.
4. Save, then reload a property page to see the change.

Your guests can still zoom in and out freely. This setting only controls where the map starts. It works with both Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.

**Note.** The map on the search results page is separate and is not affected by this setting.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
