# Changing the search bar date format

The dates shown in your search bar, such as 'Sep 06' or 'Sep 6', come from one setting that you can change.

Since Toolkit 3.233.3, the Searchbar Pro date labels use the same **Date format (js)** setting as the Explorer search bar. This covers the desktop WHEN field, the compact sticky bar that appears while scrolling, and the mobile search summary.

To change it, go to **HomeRunner → Settings → Explorer → Date format (js)**. The default is 'LLL dd', which renders 'Sep 06'. Common alternatives are 'LLL d' for 'Sep 6', 'DD' for 'Sep 6, 2026', 'EEE, LLL dd' for 'Sun, Sep 06', and 'dd/LL/yyyy' for '06/09/2026'.

Month and weekday names follow the visitor's browser language.
