# Booking widget shortcode for pages and templates

To add the HomeRunner booking widget to a property page or a page-builder template, always place it with its shortcode. Never copy the rendered HTML of the widget.

**Adding the widget.** In your page builder or theme template, insert the shortcode **[homerunner-booking-widget]**. This works in Beaver Builder Themer layouts, Elementor, and text/HTML modules.

**On property pages.** You do not need any attributes. The widget automatically detects the property being viewed and loads its own rates, guest limits, availability calendar, and checkout link.

**On non-property pages.** To show the widget for a specific property, use the **id** attribute, for example **[homerunner-booking-widget id="123"]**.

**After you make the change.**

1. Save and publish the template.
2. Clear your site cache so all pages pick up the change.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
