# Adding explainer text to rate plan names

You can show a short explanation next to a rate plan name in your booking engine. In **Toolkit > Rate Plan Control**, enter the text in the **Explainer** field on a rate plan override. The text appears as a small info icon next to the plan name. Guests see it as a tooltip on hover on desktop, or on tap on mobile.
