# Website bookings versus manual reservations in Hostaway

When a guest books on your HomeRunner website, the reservation appears in Hostaway on the **Direct** channel. A reservation your team enters by hand in Hostaway also lands on the **Direct** channel, so in Hostaway the two look identical.

**What HomeRunner sends.** HomeRunner creates the reservation in Hostaway with the price, taxes, cleaning fee, and fee breakdown, and attaches the guest's card to that reservation. HomeRunner does not charge the card and does not update the reservation afterwards. Charging, payment status, and any later edits happen in Hostaway.

**How to tell them apart.** In WordPress admin, go to **HomeRunner > Reservations**. Every booking made through the website is listed there. A reservation that is in Hostaway but not in that list was not created through the website.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
