# Checkout add-ons on Hostaway and Guesty

Checkout add-ons are set up differently depending on whether your website connects to Guesty or Hostaway.

**Guesty.** You create add-ons in Guesty as account-level booking-engine upsells. They sync to your HomeRunner website automatically. This is the path most HomeRunner customers use today.

**Hostaway.** You configure add-ons in HomeRunner and map them to Hostaway fee types manually. Hostaway add-ons support only one unit per booking.

**Mandatory fees.** On both platforms, mandatory fees such as cleaning and pet fees come through your PMS pricing.
