# Guesty reservation source: website or manual

To see whether a Guesty reservation came from your website booking engine or was created manually, check the reservation's **source** field in Guesty.

**BE-API.** Reservations made through your website booking engine arrive in Guesty with the source **BE-API**.

**manual.** A reservation with the source **manual** was created directly inside Guesty, whether by a team member, over the phone, or through another integration. It never went through your website checkout.

Guesty's reservation history shows who created the reservation and when. If the history is unclear, Guesty support can confirm the origin.
