# Duplicate Toolkit plugin copies and module settings

If your site has inactive duplicate copies of HomeRunner plugins, managing those plugin files can wipe your HomeRunner Toolkit module settings.

**What to do.** Leave the inactive duplicate copies alone and ask support to remove them for you.

**If you clean up plugin files yourself.** First make sure the Toolkit is on version 3.286.1 or later. That version prevents the uninstall cleanup from running when another copy of the Toolkit is still active.
