# Preventing too-short stays in the date picker

The **Explorer Dynamic Min Stay** module makes the date picker itself enforce the minimum stay, so guests choosing dates on your site cannot select a stay that is too short in the first place.

This prevents the issue for visitors who select dates directly on your site. For visitors who arrive with dates already in the URL, from shared links, bookmarks, or old emails, the empty-state explanation covers the too-short stay instead.
