# Same-day bookings with Guesty

If you use Guesty, your HomeRunner direct booking site can accept same-day bookings through the **same-day override** setting.

**How it works.** The override releases dates that are blocked only by advance-notice restrictions. Dates held by real reservations stay closed. Once the override is enabled, your site enforces each listing's advance-notice window at checkout. For example, a listing with a 4-hour advance-notice window accepts same-day bookings until 8:00 PM local time, then closes the date with a message like "Same-day bookings close at 8:00 PM." Listings with longer windows, such as 24 or 72 hours, keep those windows and do not open for same-day bookings.

**Turning it on.** You do not need to change anything in Guesty. Contact HomeRunner support to enable the same-day override for your account.
