# Capturing checkout guest details in HubSpot

If your site uses a two-step checkout, you can send the guest-details step to HubSpot so you can build an abandoned-booking workflow.

**How it works.** A server-side integration sends each **Continue** click to HubSpot through the HubSpot Forms Submission API. The submission includes the HubSpot visitor cookie, so it attaches to the visitor's existing tracking record.

**What you need.** Your HubSpot portal ID, the target form ID, and a HubSpot form whose fields match the data being sent (name, email, phone).

This is custom work and needs to be scoped individually.
