# Guest self-serve search for group stays

Guests can search for group stays on their own and get combinations of homes that fit the whole party. This is the guest self-serve search in the **Conversion Kit** **Trip Builder**.

**Turning it on.** Guest self-serve search ships off, so nothing changes on your site until you enable it.

1. In the site admin, open **Conversion Kit**.
2. Go to the **Trip Builder** settings.
3. Turn on **Guest self-serve search**.

**What your guests see.** Once it is on, a public search page appears at /group-stays/ on your site. Guests enter their check-in and check-out dates, their group size, and, optionally, how far apart the homes can be. The site returns combinations of available homes that sleep the whole group, priced live. Guests can compare options side by side, save one as a trip, and share a single trip link where each household books its own home. The trip page tracks progress as bookings come in and updates on its own.

**How guests find it.** The site invites guests into this search automatically. A banner appears over search results for large parties. Notes also appear in the guest pickers and on property pages when a party is bigger than any single home.

**Choosing which homes can be combined.** You control which properties can be paired using the **Group-stay eligible** checkbox on each property's edit screen.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
