# Hostaway listings hidden in pet searches

When guests select **bringing a pet** in the search, some or all of your Hostaway listings show no availability, even though you allow pets.

**Why this happens.** HomeRunner reads whether a listing is pet-friendly from the **Amenities** section of the Hostaway listing. The pets toggle under house rules is not read by HomeRunner, so only the **Amenities** section controls whether a listing appears in pet-friendly searches.

**What you can do.**

1. Open the listing in Hostaway.
2. Go to **Amenities**.
3. Make sure **Pets allowed** or **Pets allowed on request** is ticked.

Your site picks up the change on the next scheduled pull from Hostaway, which runs about hourly. Check every listing you expect to be pet-friendly, as each one carries its own amenities in Hostaway.

If pets are ticked in **Amenities** and the listing is still hidden for pet searches after an hour or two, send support a screenshot of that listing's **Amenities** section so it can be matched against what HomeRunner is receiving.
