# Instant Booking returns a 404 for guests

When guests click **Instant Booking**, they see a 404 error, but checkout works when you are logged in as an administrator.

**Why this happens.** Your checkout page is unpublished. Logged-in administrators can see unpublished pages, but guests cannot.

**How to fix it.**

1. In WordPress, go to **Pages** and find the page containing the shortcode [homerunner-checkout] (usually called "Checkout").
2. Check its status. If it shows Draft, Pending, Private, or Scheduled, open it and click **Publish**.
3. Do the same for your confirmation page with [homerunner-confirmation].
4. Test as a guest using a private browser window to confirm the fix works.
