# Destination page search bar scoped to that destination

Yes. You can set the search bar on a destination page so that it searches only that destination. This is configured per page using the search bar shortcode, so each destination page can behave independently.

**How it works.** The search bar sends guests to the page set in its `form_action` attribute. When that page is a results page pre-filtered to the destination, the guest's search is scoped to that destination.

**To set it up:**

1. In the search bar shortcode on the destination page, set the `form_action` attribute to point at that destination's own results page. For example: `[homerunner-explorer map="0" grid="0" hide_start_over="1" primary_filter_fields="date, guests,additional-filters" form_action="park-city/vacation-rentals/"]`
2. On that results page, pre-filter the explorer shortcode to the destination, for example by state, so all listings in that area are included.

When both are in place, a guest who searches from the destination page lands on results scoped to that destination. Other pages keep their own `form_action` and are unaffected.
