# Combining tax lines in the price breakdown

If your price breakdown shows several separate tax rows, you can combine them into a single row.

The **Inline Price Breakdown** module has a **Tax display** setting with two options. **Itemized** lists every tax as its own row. **Grouped** replaces them with a single 'Taxes' row that shows the combined amount, and your guests can expand that row to see each individual tax.

**When to use Grouped.** Grouped is usually the better choice when more than two taxes apply. The nightly rate stays at the top of the breakdown, and the individual taxes are still one tap away.

**Changing the label.** The row label is configurable if 'Taxes' is not the right wording for your market.

**Things to know.** With exactly one tax line, the setting has no visible effect. The **Tax display** setting is also separate from the **Line grouping** setting, which affects fees rather than taxes.
