# Guesty tags and custom amenities

Plain Guesty tags cannot be used to add custom amenities to your website. Untagged or plain tags go into a hidden list that the website does not display.

Location tags are the exception. They have a specific location prefix that routes them to **Property Locations**.

To add custom amenities, use a custom field instead.
