# Show price modal setting and nightly prices

You may want to hide nightly rates in the booking widget calendar by turning off the **show price modal** setting. Do not use this setting for that purpose.

**Why this matters.** The **show price modal** setting controls the Price Breakdown button and popup. Turning it off removes the only price breakdown available on the property page and on mobile. Hiding nightly rates in the calendar is a separate concern.
