# Overriding the default property page templates

HomeRunner provides default templates for two pages: the single property page and the property archive. You can replace either one with a template from your own theme.

**Theme override.** Both templates follow the standard WordPress override pattern. Add single-property.php or archive-property.php to your theme, and the theme copy takes precedence over the plugin template.

**Turning the plugin template off.** A plugin setting can also turn the plugin template off entirely. Your property page is then composed from individual shortcodes in your own template.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
