# Hide a listing from your website only

You can remove a listing from your HomeRunner website while keeping it active in your PMS and on other channels such as Airbnb. You do this with a tag in your PMS.

1. In Guesty or your connected PMS, add a tag to the listing (for example, "hidden").
2. Go to your site's **HomeRunner Sync** settings.
3. Add that same tag name under **Exclude properties from explorer having tags**.

On the next sync, the listing is removed from your website's property lists and search results. It stays live in your PMS and on every other channel, such as Airbnb. The tag name must match exactly, including capitalization.

**Why use a tag instead of unlisting.** If you unlist the property in your PMS, it is also removed from Airbnb and any other channels mapped to that listing. The tag hides it from your website only.

**Limitation.** If your website has custom-built pages that embed the booking widget for a specific listing directly, those pages are separate from the property list and are not affected by this setting. You need to update those pages through whoever built them.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
