# Customizing the Explorer when no properties match

When a guest's search in the Explorer returns no properties, you can change what they see. There are three built-in options.

**Change the message text.** Use the **No items text** field in Explorer settings to replace the default "No properties found" wording with your own explanation.

**Show recommended properties.** Use the Explorer's recommendation settings to display featured properties, or properties with tags you choose, beneath the no-results message. This way your guests always see booking options.

**Explain minimum stay results.** If you have Toolkit 3.195.0 or later, the **Explorer Dynamic Min Stay** module automatically replaces the generic message when a search fails because of minimum stay requirements. It shows an explanation and a one-click suggestion for a longer stay.

There are no template filters or developer hooks for the zero-results markup. These settings are the supported customization points.
