# Limiting the Guesty connection to specific properties

You may want HomeRunner to sync only some of the properties in your Guesty account. The two Guesty credential types handle property scoping differently.

**Open API (OAuth) credential.** This credential is account-level by design, because Guesty does not offer a per-property option on OAuth applications.

**Booking Engine API key.** This key is where the hard boundary lives. A listing that is not enabled on the key cannot sync to your site, regardless of tags.

**Controlling which properties sync.** The set of properties that sync to your site is controlled by the Booking Engine key's property list and by tag filtering. For example, you can add a tag such as 'homerunner-include' to only the properties that should appear.

**Adding properties later.** When you add properties, update the key's property list first.
