# Guesty meta fields and Rank Math descriptions

When you map the Guesty **Meta Title** and **Meta Description** custom fields in HomeRunner, the Guesty value takes priority whenever the field has text.

**How it works.** HomeRunner passes the mapped Guesty Meta Title and Meta Description to Rank Math on every property page, so the snippet Google sees is whatever you wrote in Guesty. Text typed directly in the Rank Math box only appears for a property whose Guesty field is empty, so it acts as a fallback. There is nothing to clear.

New properties pick up the Guesty values automatically on sync. A property with an empty Guesty field keeps the Rank Math or template text until that field is filled in Guesty.

**Timing.** Values reach the site on the next property sync after HomeRunner Central pulls them from Guesty, so allow for the sync cycle before checking a page.

**If some properties still show old text.** If one or two properties still show old text after a sync while the rest have updated, open those listings in Guesty and confirm the fields were saved with text.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
