# Booking widget shows old guest maximum

After you lower the maximum guest count in your PMS, the guest dropdown on your booking widget may still show the old, higher number.

**Why this happens.** The guest dropdown reflects the maximum guest count set in your PMS listing. When you change that value in your PMS, the updated maximum reaches your site on the next property sync. There is no separate setting to update in HomeRunner.

**What to do.** Wait for the next property sync. Once it has run, the dropdown stops at the new maximum. If the old number is still showing after a sync has completed, contact support.
