# Restoring old landing pages after a re-platform

Yes. After a re-platform, older landing pages that now redirect to a hub page can be restored at their original URLs.

**How a page is restored.** Each page is rebuilt at its original path, the redirect pointing it to the hub is switched off, and the page is added back to the sitemap so search engines pick it up on the next crawl. The text, page title, and meta description are carried over from your old site.

**If your old host is already offline.** Text can usually be recovered from archived copies, but images often cannot. Licensed stock photos and custom banners are rarely archived, so keep your original image files and send them with your request.

**After the pages go live.** Requesting indexing in Search Console speeds up recovery.
