# Property link redirects to the listings page

A property appears on the map and in search results, but clicking it takes you to the listings page instead of opening the property page.

**Why this happens.** The map and search results read the property feed directly, so they show the listing correctly. The property page has its own web address, and a redirect rule on that address intercepts the request before the page loads. This typically happens when a home was temporarily removed from the feed. Its URL returned a 'not found' for a while, a cleanup pass created a redirect for that dead address, and the redirect remained after the home was re-added.

**How to fix it.**

1. Open the SEO plugin's Redirections screen. On sites built with HomeRunner, that is **Rank Math SEO > Redirections**.
2. Search for the property's URL path (the part after the domain).
3. Find any rule whose source matches that path exactly, including the **vacation-rental/** prefix, and deactivate or delete it.
4. Open the property page in a private browser window to confirm it loads correctly.

A rule on a bare property name from an older URL structure does not affect the current page, so look for the full path match. No changes in your PMS are needed.

If you do not manage the SEO plugin yourself, send the property name and page address to support and the redirect can be removed for you.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
