# New amenity missing from search filter

A newly synced amenity does not appear in your site's search filter, even though the filter options are sorted alphabetically.

**Why this happens.** Alphabetical sorting controls the order of options that are already turned on. It does not automatically enable new amenities in the filter.

**What you can do.** Enable the newly synced amenity in your site's explorer filter settings. Once it is enabled, it appears in the filter.
