# Old version of a page still showing

After a change is published to your site, you may still see the old version of the page in your browser.

**Why this happens.** Browsers keep a saved copy of pages, styles, and scripts, and can keep showing that saved copy for some time after a change is published.

**What you can do.** Before reporting that a published change is not working, open the page in a private or incognito window (Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N, Mac: Cmd+Shift+N). A private window does not use the saved copy, so it always shows the current version of your site.

If the problem is still visible in a private window, it is real. Send support the page link and a short screen recording of the steps. A recording lets support see exactly what happened on your screen and resolve it much faster than a description alone.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
